May 2007 - Nice amber color. Intense roasted malt taste and also nose. Not to exciting- mediocre.

Bottle: Clear red-brown color with a lovely off-white creamy head. That is where the goodness ends. It has an overly sweet, malty, grainy aroma followed by a metallic flavor. Typical of New Mexico’s crappy microbrews.

This is pretty smooth. Not real malty or hoppy, it has a solid flavor with a hint of caramel. It’s hard to pinpoint anything to this beer. The first one I drank I really liked. The second one I couldn’t finish. Strange. For that I give it middle of the road scores, until I ever have it again.

Brown ruby with huge overflowing head. Sour dusty yeast nose with some high pitched citrus. Taste lacks hops and malt flavors. Sour finish with grainy aftertaste.
