Bottle from Trader Joes Cary, NC. Hazy orange pour with a fluffy off-white head and spotty lace. Yeast and clove on the nose. Lemon, gum, clove and yeast for flavor.

Poured from bottle a hazy orangy-yellow with a large white head. Aroma is clove, wheat, yeast and lemon. Flavor is slightly sweet with bubblegum, citrus, clove, light banana tones a very mild yeast tartness. Palate is tangy with high carbonation and spice, no detectible bitterness, a light sweetness, and very little malt mouthfeel which leaves the ending feeling a little watery. Overall, a nice tasting hefeweizen at a decent price.

...bottle. Not bad for the price. SLightly watery, but good citrus on the nose, orange and lemon. Body is light, with wheat malt, slight hints of clove, and some candy sweetness. Decent carbonation, with an easy drinking feel. Finish is slightly artificial and metallic, but not too bad compared to the price. Decent, and a good buy.

12 oz bottle from TJs. pours a cloudy dark yellow-orange with a rapidly diminishing white head. The aroma is estery bananas and wheat. The flavor is surprisingly robust with good hefe character, I get banana, pear, and apple. The mouthfeel is full and satisfying. The finish is medium in duration with a slight metallic astringency. Overall: A very good hefe with strengths overshadowing weaknesses.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with minimal white head. Nose is very faint with mild bubblegum and wheat. Taste is spicier than the Hefe I just had with cloves, some pepper and banana. Finish is fairly dry with some sweet citrus that lingers. Lighter mouth feel. Not great, but drinkable and cheap.
