Bottle pours copper and brown in color with a barely noticebale head. Musty, corn and yeasty aroma. Dry bitterness at the beginning and very thin body. Slight breadiness and possible oxidation. Some off flavor in there. A bit of chocolate as well. Not terrible, but not worth going out of the way for.

Pours an brown amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is a light roasted note with a crisp lager background and slightly sweet. Flavor carries a light smoky note, light sweet caramel, smooth roasted note and a crisp lager bite at the end. High carbonation, nice density with a very smooth and creamy feel. Overall a great beer for the price and on that is honestly pretty well rounded.

5 bucks for a 6-pack. I think that should count into it’s rating. It’s really not bad and is like a maltier version of Negra Modelo. Would buy again for the money, but might not seek out if you just want to try it... Pretty one-dimensional, and there are a thousand better ones out there, although it does taste just fine.

Pours clear dark amber with a rough and fading off-white head. Aroma of brown sugar and grass. Light body, moderate carbonation. There is a bit of biscuit and nutty brown sugar taste here. Crisp finish. On the whole there is nothing wrong with this beer, but there not much is going on either. I think I snagged this for $0.67 for a single bottle, so there’s no way you can argue with the price.

Bought at Trader Joe’s. A dark caramel pour with minimal head and moderate carbonation visible. A nice malt flavor albeit somewhat medicinal. Well carbonated. Better than expected.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s in Fairfield, CA. Sweet carmel and molassas flavor. A little on the thin side, but overall a very drinkable brew.

Bottled. Once again, a well made if not rather boring beer from Trader Joes that I feel is rather underrated. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a special beer. But it is solid, biscuity, a touch eggy, easy drinking and mild, with not too many off flavors or glaring flaws. And for $5/6 pack, you really cant go wrong. This is better than most everything else in that price range.
