| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Relatively light in taste and feel for a beer made with real juiced berries AND honey - I detect a little blueberry in the mix, which it is NOT a powerful flavor compliment to the base ale and so has to be accepted as part of the overall effect rather than a distinct feature. Said effect is a light, pleasantly drinkable vaguely fruity ale with a nondescript base ale character and far too much alcohol paying the price for the minimal entertainment. Quality to an extent, but a novelty. Trev (872), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2006 Bottle: Pours a light burgundy with no head. Aroma is sweet alc. and port-like over-ripe fruit. Did I imagine it or was there a bit of flat lager malt aroma under there too?
Flavour is tart tannic start, somewhat dry giving way to a wine-cooler sweetness. Not much blueberry and no overpowering syrupy sweetness like the pure mead I’ve tried. The 9% is blended well in the flavour. I will hopefully get to try some of their other flavours as well. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Alcohol and a sweet, fruity nose, but no blueberry, rudy burgundy, no head. Light berry flavour, still no taste of the elusive blueberry. Alcohol is obvious, very sweet indeed. Jeepers! MrManning (1652), London, Ontario, Canada

No head to speak of of course, and it looks like it should be in a shot glass or something. Aroma is mulberries and dark raspberries, but no real blueberry here. Smells like a cooler. Taste is very sweet black raspberries, with lots of fake sugared candy. Whoa, sweeeetness alert. Not my favourite from the trafalgar mead offerings mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
