Aroma is grainy, herbal, wheaty, light sweetness.
Flavour is moderately sweet, grainy, some dirt.
Watery sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation.
Finishes quick, thin, water and very sweet.
Trafalgar always bores me but yet I can’t stop buying their beers. This one is no different.

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Amber pour with a very thick, sticky white head. It’s actually a pretty good-looking pour. The nose is lightly minty with a bit of crackery character. The nose is full of dirty diacetyl and woody hops. Ugh – this really sucks. beerbill (1963), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2009 341 ml bottle courtesy of a trade with Boutip. Pours a very hazy antique gold with a thin, sloppy white head, despite pouring down the center of the glass, which disappears after the first sip and leaves no lace. Very weak aroma of malt along with a few equally light notes of cedar. The flavor is mild malt with a bit of cedar emerging towards the finish and into the aftertaste. No hops presence to speak of. Dull and uninteresting. XtraStout (46), Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Oured with little head that dissipated quickly. Strong scent of honey. Taste however doesn’t suggest much sweetness. Can definately taste a hint of what I smell when camping. Overall though not enough to make it stand out. Nice drink though. I would definately drink it again were it offered to me, not sure I’d buy it again though... Bejaaamin (114), London, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2009 light brown copper, little head. nose; all over the place, im picking up a ton, apricots, dried dark fruits, sweet rolls, mint, earthy, mushrooms, wet wood and grass, subtle hop sharpness. taste; cedar picks up at the finish, somewhat smokey like, dried fruits, more cedar when it warms, pretty good. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Poured medium gold with no head.
Aroma is pretty much straight up apple juice for me. A hint of caramel maltiness.
Very low carbonation.
Flavour is fruity and sweet malt, I can kind of imagine I can taste what the cedar imparted by it’s hard to identify exactly. Soft slightly sour finish. Strangebrewer (222), Chatham, Ontario, Canada
