I would liked to have tried this earlier to the brew date, but only just got my hands on it. Opened Oct. 13th. It’s golden, slightly hazy with a frothy two inch white head. The aroma is light, bready with grapefruit and pine in the hops. The flavour is also quite bready with lemon zest and pine in the slightly bitter hops, some biscuit and caramel, water with some more bitterness and pine in the finish. Solid.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2009 650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. Fairly light nose with earthy, citrus hops. Flavour is pleasantly hoppy with a decent citric finish. A little flat. Not bad, but I remember being much more impressed when I had it on tap. rudolf (1782), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Golden brown with almost no head. Tropical fruit aroma, some cereal malts as well. Some grassy and citric hops, but primarily a clean bitter beer with little actual hop flavor. swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2009 A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, rather herbal hops with notes of cinnamon, lemon. In mouth, a malty ale with catnip herbal hops, a bit of Brett and funk, not bad. However, this is one of the ugliest label on a beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Bottle: Poured a murky dirty beige color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light earthy hops is mildly satisfying. Taste is dominated by light grainy malt notes with floral and earthy hops notes – I would wish hops presence would have been more dominant. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation. Not bad considering some of the crap brewed by this brewer but again not really good compared to some other harvest ale out there. Smells of caramel, sweet citrus, some lemony hints, grassy, some coriander hints. Tastes peppery and spicy with some earthy undertones and a sweet cutrussy finish. Enjoyable. robinvboyer (1435), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
