(Rating #2465) mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 12, 2009 [1762-20081004] Tap. Mild fruity yeast aroma. Clear, light brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head and some thick lacing. Mild fruity yeast continues in flavour with a weird cloying finish. Medium body. Good.

Flavour - grassy, chemicals, a hint of dark fruit, odd beer tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 29, 2007 brown no head syruppy some burny caremel nose, flavor is more of the same stale hop too sweet and too thin matt7215 (942), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2007 341 ml bottle. poured amber brown with small white head. aromas of caramel, brown sugar, all malty goodness. flavours are malty but toned down to make this brew very drinkable. awesome at 26.40 a case from the beer store. Nekronos (2261), Xalapa, Mexico May 16, 2007 A little boring after a while, but it has a delicious taste and awesome raspbwerry mermelade aroma. JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 16, 2007 Eye-pleasing chestnut appearance. Deep, dark aromas of heavy chocolate malt and molasses. Not as full-flavoured as expected, which actually plays to this beer’s advantage. Layers of chocolate, coffee and molasses are tastefully restrained, creating a beer that can either be quaffed or sipped, depending on the mood. A well-balanced brew. RaphaelN (195), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Apr 28, 2007 Bottle handed to me at a party. Slightly murky looking in the bottle. I didn’t bother to pour it. Better than the other servings at the party except my homebrew. Smell was a bit sweet and pungent. Taste was strongly of licorice followed by bitter cherry. An odd combination. It was kind of good, but at the same tiime made me step back at each sip. May try this one again.
