Nekronos (1851), Xalapa, Mexico May 16, 2007 A little boring after a while, but it has a delicious taste and awesome raspbwerry mermelade aroma. JohnBarleycorn (372), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 16, 2007 Eye-pleasing chestnut appearance. Deep, dark aromas of heavy chocolate malt and molasses. Not as full-flavoured as expected, which actually plays to this beer’s advantage. Layers of chocolate, coffee and molasses are tastefully restrained, creating a beer that can either be quaffed or sipped, depending on the mood. A well-balanced brew.
