Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Apr 11, 2004 Orangey red with a short soapy tan head. Modest lacing. Toasty malted aroma. Toffee mild burnt hoppy bitterness. Cookie, and bread crust. Some sour notes. Watery finish. Decent. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Dec 6, 2003 Appearance is a clear dark amber with minimal off-white head. Aroma is too mild to be taken seriously, lazy teenager hops. In mouth, there's a water character which doesn't quite help it, hops are shy. An effort can be perceived where a hint is directed toward nuts. It lacks presence and character, period.
