Mar 4, 2003 Nice rosted malts in the aroma. Somewhat vinegary. Dark reddish amber. Frothy white head. Nice and enjoyable.

Jan 3, 2006 Updated: Jun 15, 2006 bottle: Pours a dark cola-red with a fair off- white cap that has modest retention...some lacing. Aromas of caramalt over a distinct sour/lactal tonewhich seems to be this brewer’s signature....wierd! Tastes only slightly better than it smells weak bodied soapy texture. Malty- toasty, sweet, some cocoa then this God-awful sour-veggy taste....I think its the hops trying to make an appearance but it tastes and smells like celery..weird!

Aug 14, 2004 Sample taken from 341ml brown bottle. Poured orange-red, thin short lasting off white head. Weak aroma. Lots of fruity malt and caramel, some notes of roasted malt in the finish.

Jul 20, 2007 341 ml bottle. poured amber brown with small white head. aromas of caramel, brown sugar, all malty goodness. flavours are malty but toned down to make this brew very drinkable. awesome at 26.40 a case from the beer store.
