Clear, light brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head and some thick lacing. Mild fruity yeast continues in flavour with a weird cloying finish. Medium body. Good.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 28, 2007 Bottle handed to me at a party. Slightly murky looking in the bottle. I didn’t bother to pour it. Better than the other servings at the party except my homebrew. Smell was a bit sweet and pungent. Taste was strongly of licorice followed by bitter cherry. An odd combination. It was kind of good, but at the same tiime made me step back at each sip. May try this one again. cfrancis (362), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada

Pours an auburn red. Aroma is of hop and toffee. Taste is malt and quite robust with a nice hop aftertaste which is quite surprising. I wasn’t expecting the hop bitterness at the end.
