Tall nice bottles that block light. Not widely available Average for the brewery and this style, which is a big notch up from national brands. Satisfying pour and taste.

May 2001 - another decent offering from Trafalgar... Big smooth head on it. Goes down easy. Could use a touch more hops for my tastebuds but its an enjoyable beer.

For a cream ale, this beer wasn't too bad. Perhaps the ambiance of the Price of Wales Hotel helped. As for the details: clear amber w/ a finger of off-white foam; mildly malty nose w/ a light spiciness; light body; Mild malt flavour but balanced (for the style) toward its earthy, hoppy finish.

Golden-orange colour, slightly hazy, with a respectable but short lived white head. Aroma is mild, malty and slightly fruity. Body is on the light side, and not as creamy as the style should be. Flavour isn't bad, but seems to lack direction - it's kinda malty, kinda fruity, kinda bitter, but none of the flavours really come together. And the finish is somewhat sour.

Aroma of melted plastic. A bit cloudy yellow with almost no head. Sour, slightly malty ale.
