robinvboyer (1048), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Apr 25, 2008 650ml bottle from the beer store.
Pours out a milk clear liquid. It actually looks like coconut milk, with zero head. Smells of.........citrus, and kitchen cleaner. Flavour....WHOA! Ok, i’m sure lysol, or hertel or whoever has a citrus/tropical cleaner out there right? Well this has to be what it tatses like! absolutely awful, i cant really describe it, it just tates like bathroom/kitchen cleaner smells.....wow, one drink, and drain our the whole 650. nasty! It might have been an off infected bottle, cause well.......we are talking trafalgar here. DougShoemaker (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 22, 2006 Orange, pineapple and lemon aroma, hazy yellow. Taste is alcohol and a melange of mixed fruit. A bit harsh and junky! Thank You joey_capps. Immy (1583), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Dec 19, 2005 Number 100! And, appropriately, another great hookup from MrManning! Yellow pour, lightly carbonated. Citrusy sweet nose, with tropical fruit notes. Sweet, almost cider-like flavor. An interesting departure. Goes down WAY too easy - that 9% is hidden well. Thanks again, Len! MrManning (1450), London, Ontario, Canada Nov 20, 2005 Dark yellow pour, lots of carbonation apparent due to the fizzy white head. Citrus air freshener, lemons, other fruity aromas. Lemony sweet grass flavour, acididc, lots of cabonation. FIzzy, alcohol not noticable, slightly cloying. Just better than average. tupalev (2311), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2005 TFOB. Really hazy dark yellow. Bubbly white head. Lightly acidic aroma with artificial citrus scents and alcohol. Taste is quite sweet and sour. Acid for sure, tell me again how this is a mead and not an alcopop. I enjoyed it more than the wildberry as the whole package was much better balanced. It was tart but quenching. Interesting.
