Its raspberry tartness and malt sweetness are reminiscent of this style's Belgian predecessors.

light slight rasberry on the nose, pours a acidic pale orange yellow with fizzy head, light clear rasberry on the tongue, pretty much lacking in depth, was not that good.

This was a cloudy light orange colored body with a white head. The aroma was definite raspberries and bread. The taste was mild raspberries with some almonds. There was also some fresh flour. A decent fruit beer.

Tastes like the blond with a fizzy artifical fruit flavor that reminds me of those Emergen-C powders. Just a bad beer overall.

5oz sampler at brewpub. Dark yellow and semi-cloudy with no head. Very faint raspberry smell. Sour vinegar taste, bad bitter finish, yuck! Reminds me of fruit juice gone bad, the mix is all wrong here.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer is a hazy dark yellow color with a medium thin white head that burns off steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of raspberry sherbet and wheat. Light body with a tart raspberry character, with hints of zesty hops. The finish is akin to a raspberry Flintstones vitamin, if they make that flavor. Not very good.

(draught at brewpub) slightly hazy pale gold with almost no head. Very faint malt, fruit aroma. Flavor is malt, raspberry. Not overly sweet, which helps.

Totally middle-of-the-road. Pours a hazy wheat gold, small head. Aroma is like those Footies fruit chew candies made by Tootsie. Also some caramel. Flavor is somewhat artificial, cloyingly sweet, though the fruit notes are somewhat balanced. Needs tweaking.
