Abbot ESB English-style ale is roasty with some chocolate in the finish and an alcohol content of 5.2 percent. The hops are mild with a spicy, floral aroma.

on tap-pours a creamy light tan head and amber/red color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty, nutty. Taste is medium malt-chocolate/roasty, nutty, nicely balanced hops bitterness. Further into this beer after taste becomes coffee (which drops rating to 3.2) OK carbonation.
