Commercial Description:
This quintessential summer thirst-quencher, light but flavorful, often called "breakfast beer" by southern Germans. The name is literally "yeast-wheat", because it is brewed with fifty percent wheat and served unfiltered, cloudy with yeast. The dominant flavors are banana and clove, products of the unique yeast imported from Bavaria.

Had this on draft yesterday for lunch. Poured turbid gold, with a good white, foamy head. Aroma of citrus, hops, yeast, and cloves. Tastes of citrus, yeast, with slight fruitiness at the finish.
