On draft-Poured a dark red color with anice white head.Aromas were of light malt and caramel and a light sweetness.Taste was of light malt and light bread and caramel,overall an ok beer,but not the best maibock I have had.

Apr 7, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet caramel, bready. Taste is medium malt-sweet caramel, bready, secondary hops bitterness, alcohol. Occasional. OK carbonation.

May 30, 2005 Tap at the brewpub. Clear orange in color with a nice lasting white head. Malty and nice hop aroma. Big malty hoppy flavor. Nice malty clean flavor. Very nice beer. Well balanced. Very drinkable.

May 7, 2004 Nice dark amber color, with a great malt, fruit, and hop nose. Very complex finish, with a fruity, slightly heavy mouthfeel presence, but tempered with a good malt/hop presence. A very nice maibock.
