Bottle. Pours a very dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is very inviting! Dried fruit, chocolate, caramel and molasses. Flavour has a nice sweetness. Quite complex with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, roasted coffee beans, soy sauce (that gives the beer a nice saltiness) and liquorice. Also some hints of peppery alcohol. A long lasting finish with a nice bitterness. Good one!

Bottle at Magic_dave6’s disco dance tasting. Brown with a thin white head. Nose is malty warmness, some wood, sweet. Mouth is sweet but butter chocolate, espresso, alcohol. Some hoppiness, dry. Mouth is some salty seaweed, with a slightly sweet finish. Slight tones of speyside. Really good.

Bottle: Pours a deep brown with a white head. Aroma, sweet caramel notes, boozy, dark fruits. Flavor, vanilla, caramel, some bready hints, fruits, some noticeable alcohol. This is young, but certainly has some potential.

Clear ruby red color, small brown head. Strong nose: vanilla/fudge, licorice and raisins. Liquerish and port wine -like palate. Flavor is not quite what I expected after delicious nose. Very metallic flavor, some vanilla fudge and raisins. Ageing might help here, now just too simple (especially for being Traquair-brew).

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Notes of plums. Remote cereal and grassy notes. Roasted notes appear as it warms. – A bit stout-like. Flavour is like the aroma. Also metallic notes as well as notes of prunes.. Finis his sweet and fruity with lingering cereal notes. A bit cloying. 24-01-08.

Bottle. Medium high fluffy but lasting light brown head. Clear dark red, almost black body. Coffee, cocoa, caramel aroma with just a hint of the alcohol. The flavor is much sweeter than expected and thereby disguising the high alcohol percentage in a very tood way as the beer is still tasty with a mixture of coffee, berries and caramel. Low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste.
