Amber.
Way to much yeast in both aroma and flavour. More than real-ale-ish.
Some late bitterness and notes of grape. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2005 Amber, small head. Yeasty, quite strange aroma, that gives me the feeling the yeast had not finished its work in this brew.
Flavor reminds me of a real ale with grapefruit. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 10, 2005 This was delivered by accident to me 2 years ago by the Rare Beer Store. I forgot I had it. Pours dark mber color with a beige head. The taste is slightly sweet with spicy notes. I guess it’s balanced, but certainly doesn’t seem to be very complex. I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. To be fair this just isn’t my style. Light hoppy bitter palate. Fairly pleasant. I guess the House Ale was better, but Traquairs efforts don’t quite do it for me.
