The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is sweet and quite dry. A boring beer considering that it is a Traquair production. CampbellWilson (533), Scotland

Aroma of malt/chocolate. Tasted after a quite smoky Isle of Skye beer, I couldn’t detect any smokiness. Creamy mouthfeel, relatively sweet malty taste, some fruity hop to finish. Nice. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 19, 2004 Sweetish smell of malts, sugar, some fruits. quite weird smell. Not really sure about what it really is... Hazy, brown coloured with a lasting thin white head. Taste is sweet, some hop, caramel-malt, spices. Some ginger perhaps. Quite bitter finish.
