Jun 19, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head leving quite some lacework. Lovely aroma of sherry and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with a very soft and smooth mouthfeel. Very complex flavour pattern with woody, oaky accents and vanilla, caramel, sherry, plenty of fruit and even some vitamin accents. The finish is dry. Very complex and pleasant. Another excellent Traquair brew. 180507

Apr 17, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours black with a huge, dense and light tan head slowly turning into a nice lacework. Malty toffee and light fruity aroma. Flavour is light roasted malt and toffee sweet dark caramel with a light bitterness. Light and smooth malt lingering into the finish. Nice and wellbalanced.
