Nicer amber, little fast diminishing head - no carbonation. Nice pleasant bitter taste, gives edgeing bitter sidekicks, rolls to the middle to the tongue back down the throat. Stale though. Leafy, English hop character, very earthwith some floral nuances, lots of malt, biscuity, caramel. Medium body with a hoppy bite in the finish. Magicdave6 (5554), London, Greater London, England

Aroma is minimal due to sparkler, however toffee and grassy hops, spice later. Taste is a tad watery, toffee, honey spice, bittering hops. A tasty wee ale indeed. Malty and metallic aroma with some very slight sour fruit. More metallic notes in the flavour. A big let down considering the quality usually associated with this brewery. Given a little while to open up after pouring it gives up some caramel and tobacco and the metallic note has all but gone. So so at best. Oakes (8114), Kowloon, Hong Kong
