Dec 20, 2009 Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Almonds, burnt caramel and roasted malt showing up in both nose and taste. Delicious and a great accompaniment to baklava. Lovely subtle astringency. Definitely underrated in my opinion. Thanks a lot MoritzF!

Apr 14, 2009 Bottle, 5.6%. Malty aroma, slightly farty. Clear dark brown colour. The flavour starts off quite roasted. Has a good clean roasted flavour, turning slightly creamy in the finish.

Apr 3, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown, clear, golden and with a small off-white head. Mild spiced, hoppy and roasted malt aroma. Subdued sweet malt flavoured, light roasted and vague hops to light spiced like. Breadish and caramelish. Smooth and good balanced brew. Lasting breadish and roasted impression into the far finish.

Dec 28, 2008 500ml bottle: poured dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma with some caramel. Flavor is roasty with light hops and a bit of residual sweetness. I thought this was a pretty good beer. Like a mild doppelbock.
