Dec 30, 2009 12oz bottle pours a transparent, copper orange with a creamy, lacing, slightly beige head. Aroma of noble hops, slightly metallic, sweet, doughy, crackers, whole grain bread. Flavor is a little vegetal, wet leaves, whole grain bread, a little doughy, some sweetness. Something in the flavor is just a bit off. Finish is just a little dry.

Appearance - brown, thin though fluffy head, great lacing;
Taste - somewhat sweet malt front, faintly bitter back, mild finish;
Palate - crisp, decent body;
Overall - good brew though nothing really stands out, heavy crispness appears to mask some flavor.

Dec 3, 2009 Bottle from BOM club. Pours a bronze color with minimal head. Smells of toasted malt, spice, and maybe hay?? Very subdued. Caramel and malt flavor are almost overtaken by bitter hops. Not a very good aftertaste. Ehhh.

Nov 27, 2009 Clear orangeish red pour. Heavy red buttery aroma. Mainly largely relying on the malts for aroma. Taste is dry bitter. Very dry and very bitter. Some feeling of harshness. Ouch.

Nov 22, 2009 A solid session beer. Goes well with various foods. Has some fruit and pine in the nose, flavors of malts with a nice bitter finish. Body is a bit too thin.
