| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Checked with the brewer, and this is a new recipe from the previous IPA they brewed, and unfortunately it’s not as good. Deep bright gold without too much head. Mildly citric hops on nose, but also earthy vegetal notes. Barely carbonated, but not quite cask-like. Mouthfeel is okay. Not a bad beer, but I don’t think they improved on their previous IPA. dkachur (2361), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
