Triangle Anniversary 2.0 IPA

WBF. Pours a translucent pale yellow with a one finger creamy white head. Nose is hoppy, citrusy, some vegetal notes, mild menthol character. Flavor shows some citrus rind, earthy character, a bit musty. Palate is shows a very low carbonation.

Checked with the brewer, and this is a new recipe from the previous IPA they brewed, and unfortunately it’s not as good. Deep bright gold without too much head. Mildly citric hops on nose, but also earthy vegetal notes. Barely carbonated, but not quite cask-like. Mouthfeel is okay. Not a bad beer, but I don’t think they improved on their previous IPA.

Sampled on draft at the brewery. Pours a light golden color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus and earthy hops. Bitter citrus hops taste. Medium bodied.
