Sep 29, 2009 Cloudy yellow pour with white head and lace. Bread, light orange, and belgian yeast. Bread, candy, and yeast. A tad thin with good carbonation. A pretty nice beer.

Sep 9, 2009 Orange pour with small white head. Citrus notes in aroma slight hint of hops and grains. Toasted grains dominate the flavor which I thought odd, and slightly spicy. Different tasting witbier than I am used to.

Mar 14, 2009 I had this on cask on Bull McCabe’s last night, though it was slightly different--brewed or added with blueberries. Assuming it was a one-off, I’ll just rate it here. Not as "white" as most wits; more of a hazy golden orange pour with thin white head that was to be expected from the cask. Wheat, subtle spices for the style, which was nice (orange peel, coriander). Thin palate and easy to drink. The blueberry didn’t show through strong at all. More the nice floral notes than a fruit bomb. Pretty tasty. Looking forward to drinking more of the regular batch, maybe this summer.

Aug 25, 2008 Draft at Watts. Hazy orange/yellow color with a small white head. Nose of biscuits, yeast, and spice. Nice crisp flavors and well balanced, with a solid wheat mouthfeel. This is a delicious session wheat beer, and a nicely done Belgian representation.

Aug 11, 2008 Pint @ MacGregors. Good aroma, coriander & citrus, orange mainly, little lime. toasted grain, wheat. Hazed orangy gold color, good head, ok lace. Spiced sweet flavor, like aroma, favors the sweet side. medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, spicy finish. Very nice brew, really enjoyed it.

Jun 26, 2008 Draft at Watts Grocery, Durham. Looks more like an APA, but it’s well carbonated, decent head. The nose is about what you’d expect from an American take on the style, very mildly spicy with some fruit notes in there. More hops in the beer than anything else, though you still get some decent flavors. Very typical but not unenjoyable.
