On cask at Bull McCabe’s, with that mook below and Magjayran. Very handsome pour, thick with a frothy head and oily black. Strong roasts in the nose promise good things, with only the faintest hint of sweet candy. The taste delivers more coffee flavors, nicely oaky (Sumatra is used), and the dry chalky mouthfeel suits this quite well. Slightly too sweet at times towards the end, but I enjoyed this quite a bit.

Cask at Tyler’s. Black pour with thin bubbly light tan head. Aromas of sweet coffee and raspberry cream. Slightly roasty, but mostly sweet. Wanted more bitter raspberry, but it came across as more sweet and slightly creamy.... same for the coffee. Quite tasty overall, though.
