drjay44 (80), USA Jul 4, 2008 Small head, which disappeared rapidly. Wonderful initial aroma which was quickly supplanted by almost nothing. Very slight taste, minimal bitterness, very light mouthfeel. A great disapointment after the initial nose. ratman197 (2174), Arvada, Colorado, USA Apr 22, 2008 Bomber poured a lightly hazy tarnished copper with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, bread and fruittiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, bread and light fruittiness with a smooth lightly bitter finish. Aubrey (2554), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 16, 2008 22 oz bottle: Weak pfffst, when opening. Light amber hue with a really weak head. Musty, medicinal nose wasn’t a good sign. Mouthfeel was thickish, but carbonation was weak. Noticed some pine, but it wasn’t tree-like; it was more like cleaner. Vitamins and dish rag flavors and aromas followed. Had to pour most of the bottle out, sadly. I’m hoping they didn’t intend any of these flavors. I visited the brewery a year or so ago and don’t remember their beers tasting this bad (I didn’t rate while there). I look forward to rerating, assuming they fix the problems. RSRIZZO (945), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Mar 31, 2008 Aroma is very light with just a hint of citrus. Color is an orange amber with low carbonation and almost no head, just a loose ring. Taste is a hoppy sourness. Starts with a medium body that goes down flat with just a slight fizzy feel. Finish is odd with a bland malt flavor and a sour hop flavor that’s a bit like rancid lemon. After taste is this odd sour taste growing. This is just a bad brew and one of the worst Pales I have ever had.
