From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with a notched-off "Jan" on the label however I did not see a year listed. A decent looking amber-copper pour with a thin, creamy looking beige head. It also quite hazy. The aroma entices me with bitter hops, sweet malts and even pine cones. Bitter hops are the first taste sensations on the tongue along with a molasses-like sweetness. A hoppy aftertaste. A likeable IPA.

Pours orange. Nose is cardboard, hints of pine hops, toasted bread. Flavor is dull malts mixed duller hops to create a pretty dull beer. As it warms it starts smelling weird, almost like feet.

Lightly hazed bronze color. Taller beige head. Toasted marshmallows, orange slices and orange rind in the aromas. A hint of key lime as well. Sweet and floral perfume flavors. Mild bitterness late. Balance isn’t there for me. Quite sweet and citric. Manderin oranges in jello comes to mind.

(Draught at the brewpub) Poured amber and cloudy with small white head. Aroma was malty and hoppy. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, bitterness, strongly hops, yeast and fruitiness. Bitter aftertaste. Overall a harsh and musty beer.

Draft. Coppery golden color, slightly clouded. Smells nice- bitter, piney, floral hops. A muddy roasted flavor. Smells better than it tastes, The hops are strong, but it isn’t crisp enough for me. Very dry and bitter.

(Bottle) Courtesy of our Rhode Island friends. Thanks Kat and Cyn! Holds a lasting large frothy white head atop a copper body. Nose of orange peel and rich English malt. Smooth, tart orange hoppiness with a slight roasty finish. Enjoyable.

12oz bottle purchased in Connecticut. Amber color with a maltier aroma. This is definitly an east coast IPA with a solid focus on the malts and a healthy streak of bitter hops. The hops are here, but they are in balance with assertive malt character as well. Very drinkable.
