A decent looking amber-copper pour with a thin, creamy looking beige head. It also quite hazy. The aroma entices me with bitter hops, sweet malts and even pine cones. Bitter hops are the first taste sensations on the tongue along with a molasses-like sweetness. A hoppy aftertaste. A likeable IPA.

Flavor is dull malts mixed duller hops to create a pretty dull beer. As it warms it starts smelling weird, almost like feet. JPDIPSO (4926), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2009 12oz bottle purchased in Connecticut. Amber color with a maltier aroma. This is definitly an east coast IPA with a solid focus on the malts and a healthy streak of bitter hops. The hops are here, but they are in balance with assertive malt character as well. Very drinkable.
