75CL bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar (Escondido, CA). Had real difficulty getting the cork out of this one. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with a giant and very white head. Very carbonated and has a rather champagne-like essence. Sweet and slightly musty aroma of yeast. Some spice and fruit in the nose -- apple, banana, and light citrus. Complex flavor of earthy yeast, banana, spices (clove and pepper). A very nice level of sweetness that never turns cloying. Alcohol is completely hidden -- be careful. Light mouthfeel with a great level of carbonation. A really fantastic tripel. This is the main one that turned my ex-girlfriend from a wine lover into a beer lover, too. Forget Miller -- this is the real "Champagne of Beers."

Orange/amber pour with good clarity. Half-inch persistent head. A lot of wheat on the aroma, as well a perfumy orange blossom, soft alcohol, some spicy and floral hops and a bit of lemon. Flavour is quite similar, but with the expected doughy belgian yeast coming through. Highly effervescent, very prickly. Some alcohol warming on the palate. The wheat put a spin on things, but otherwise this is just a typical belgian tripel, albeit quite a tasty one....

Bottled, tnx to Viktor! Color is hazy yellow, with thick creamy slightly off-white head. Nice lacing. Nose is fruity and slightly alcoholic. Aroma has fruits, malt. Flavour is dominated by sweet hops and alcohol. Carbonation gives it a pleasant mouthfeel and hops take care of the aftertaste. Nicely brewed triple, but I can’t see the many 4+’s. Alcohol is too much dominant for that.

33cl bottle poured into a Chimay Trappist glass. Nice golden color with about one finger of head. Smells like spiced apples. Tastes spicy and hoppy with a some fruit undertones. Very well balanced beer. Great brew.

Classic Belgian yeast, clover like and a light hop floral aroma. Color was golden, with a creamy low carbonation head. Flavor had mostly clover, with some ripe apple and perhaps even pineapple. Palate was creamy with a light alcohol tinge at the finish. Good stuff, but not spectacular.
