Feb 28, 2009 Bottle pours hazy yellow with a big head. Big yeasty aroma! Sweet body with a dry swallow. Some fruitiness but more subdued than other tripels I have had.

Feb 25, 2009 300 cl bottle (big!) at my 40 years party - shared with yngwie and 50 others. A bit hazy golden/amber color, white head. Aroma is most of all fruit and yeast. Flavor is fruity, sweet, malty, yeast and hints of citrus. Lovely.

Feb 24, 2009 Served 2/22/09 @ 35 F in chilled Czech Pilsner. Aroma of hay, herbs dough, leather. Appeared golden hazy. Taste of light sweetness, light bitter, moderate sour. Medium body think texture, lively carbonation.

Feb 22, 2009 I live nearby the town where this excellent beer is created. I like the tripel karmeliet in the summer while enjoying a nice barbecue. The taste is a bit sweet with some hints of vanilla, citrus and honey.

Feb 20, 2009 Poor white head. Disapointing palate.Strong citrus/honey taste at first, smootly replaced by pears/floral yeast taste. Good, but far away from good typical belgian tripel.

Feb 15, 2009 Bouteille de 330 ml. Nos yeux observe une bière de couleur or-cuivrée et un col de mousse imposant et durable. Au nez on respire des arômes de blé, de fleurs, de fruits (pêche-mangue) sur un fond subtil d’alcool. En bouche le corps est rond avec une effervescence faible-moyenne. On goûte des saveurs de céréales fraîches, de levure fruitée et de houblon floral. La finale présente une légère présence d’alcool qui enrobe le fruité. À noter qu’une effervescence visuelle intense et visible. Alcoolisé mais léger. Une bière d’une grande finesse.

Feb 13, 2009 In bottle at Brasserie Beck in DC. Pours medium-amber with a thick white head. Fruity flavor with hints of honey and banana. Strong taste, medium-bodied. Well-carbonated yet smooth and easy to drink.
