I like the tripel karmeliet in the summer while enjoying a nice barbecue. The taste is a bit sweet with some hints of vanilla, citrus and honey. kubilai (35), , Quebec, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Poor white head. Disapointing palate.Strong citrus/honey taste at first, smootly replaced by pears/floral yeast taste. Good, but far away from good typical belgian tripel. Bartzilla (445), San Diego, California, USA

Une bière d’une grande finesse. crash83 (7), Maryland, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2009 In bottle at Brasserie Beck in DC. Pours medium-amber with a thick white head. Fruity flavor with hints of honey and banana. Strong taste, medium-bodied. Well-carbonated yet smooth and easy to drink.
