Bottle. Golden color with some small floaties, lots of carbonation, and a big and rather stable white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, spices, some malty notes and hints of hops. Sweetish flavor at first with some malt, a bit of caramel and some oatmeal character, then turns spicier and drier with yeast and some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Medium to full-bodied. Dangerously drinkable.

Clear and light in appearance...moderate sweetness that does not overwhelm. Flavors of pear and white grapes. Dry in finish, not bitter. Pretty standard tripel here, but more complex than the American comparisons.

Orange gold big, foamy white head / Delicate nose of bananas, apples, lemons, and spice / Medium body, aggressive carbonation, some malt oomph, crisp acidity, and good, lasting, semi-sweet finish / Tart flavors of green apple, banana, lemon, orange, caramel, and coriander / Terrific.

stark white cotton head rose up and out of the tulip glass quickly, oops. easy, restrained dusty yeast aroma has hints of lemon and wheat. theres a sweetness to the oats, a dry character to the wheat and the foggy abbey yeast throughout.
