Easy to drink for the alcohol content. Aroma is sweet with some mild spice and grain. Flavor is nice and sweet, reminiscent of a barleywine with a nice citrus aspect with the sweet grain and spice. Very good. durhambeer (1223), Durham, USA

Pours bright, deep, hazy golden with huge white head that recedes but maintains. Nose of bananas, citrus, coriander, yeast, honey, honeysuckle, apples, and lovely floral notes (but not at all soapy). Bit of white pepper. Perhaps a little on the sweet side for a tripel, but finishes nicely dry. SuzyGreenberg (1410), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2009 330 ml bottle - pale yellow with thick, eggy white head; steady csrbonaton with tasty aromas of honey, sweet flowers, yeasty spice, apples; fizzy texture with sweet, fruity mouthful and dry finish; hazy gold with soft, delicate flavors of honey, lemons, grass and malty sweetness; just an amazing brew all around; lovely on draft but doesn’t do as well in the 750’s as in the 330’s IMO walrussell (121), , Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Its a good Triple , but not a classic IMO. Everytime ive drank Karmeliet ive been struck by the floral , spicy aroma . But when you start downing this its too overly sweet . Its like it opens spicy and dry and then the sweet maltiness out balances thangz. Anker (309), Hillerød, Denmark

Pours clear yellow with a big fluffy white head.
Aroma is perfumed and sweet with notes of orange peal, coriander, caramel and spices.
The flavour follows the aroma closely but has a sweet honey note and even more coriander to it.
Very nice and spicy beer but also a little to sweet. LanceUppercut (133), Sweden
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2009 A faint nose of grass, cucumber and soil. Taste is of yeast, soil, grass and citrus. There is some saltiness and the alcohol is well hidden. Easy to drink, but otherwise I’m not a big fan of this one. Teege (121), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Bottle at redlight redlight. Good solid tripel. Golden in color and crisp on the palate. Nice subtle funkiness that nicely compliments the notes of bread and fruit. I would write more, but I have to go because my girlfriend is tired.
