Although maybe it is better described as a fruit beer or speciatly beer. Black in color with a nice one inch head. Aroma is mostly black cherry, tart and sweet. The flavor is all black cherry with a good bitternesss to it. It is the black cherry dominance that I really enjoyed. The flavor and aroma improve as it warms. I sampled a pint but I will definately get the larger size next time, and make more extensive notes. myfriendbubba (22), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2004 Sampled draught at Main Street Station, Las Vegas Black, tan head. Nose of fresh cherries & spice. Tastes roasty before the cherry hits with a light tannic dry note with a sweet tail from the cherry. Dusty finish, decent cherry stouts but lacks the body & finish that this style deserves. argo0 (7006), Washington DC, USA
