Feb 27, 2005 Deep burgundy with a firm tan head. Milky, chocolatey aroma. Very little bitterness and a very smooth palate. A little lighter bodied than I expected, but fairly pleasing.

Nov 23, 2004 Served in a unique pilsner glass at the brewpub. Good lacing, average head and a black color. Porter has a light sweetness with chocolate, coffee toasted malt flavor. Heavier on the hops than most porters. Also detected a licorice undertone.

Black color, tan head, small lacing. Nose of bright chocolate & coffee: mocha. Tastes very strongly of chocolate & crystal malts. Creamy roast finish, no black patent or astringency. Very rich porter.

Jul 5, 2003 Dark auburn, nearly opaque. Slightly sweet smelling with coffee notes. Bitterness hits very fast, then dissipatees quickly leaving behind a roasted coffee/chocolately essence. Very tasty!
