on tap at the brewpub as "brewmaster’s reserve BW" served in a snifter, golden brown with almost no head. aroma of raqsin and brown sugar. flavor was fairly bland with some brown sugar and some fruityness. finished slightly dry with a touch of hops. medium thick. a forgettable bw.

This was the special at the Triple 7 brewpub downtown Las Vegas at Main Street Station. They only had a little bit of this left and I was served from a pitcher kept in a small refrigerator behind the bar. This beer was served in a snifter and had just a little carbonation and a small head that dwindled to nothing after a few sips. The color was a medium brown like most BWs. The taste was of berries and plums and was enjoyable. Medium thick mouthfeel. A decent BW.

golden brown small tan head ok lacing. Syruppy sweet brown sugarn and some plum in the aroma. Avg palate touch of oiliness. A weak flavor some carmel and toffee w/ a dry bitter finish. A very under done BW.

had a 10oz sample of this at the barleys beer festival...funny no one else has rated it before??? poured dark raisin color with little to no head...some notes of prunes in the nose and hops. pretty standard for a barley wine, somewhat on the thin side for my taste. and needing a bit more co2...plastic sampling cup did not help.
