Triple 7 Hefeweizen

Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Smells of bananas, coriander. Tastes of coriander, bananas, some spicy hints with a full bodied finish.

[Draft @ brewpub] Poured a hazy, light golden color, with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, light clove, some sulphur, and citrus. Taste of banana, clove, and wheaty, tart citrus.

Sample at the brewpub (as Hefe-Wei-Zen). This beer is a cloudy yellow lemonade color with a medium thin bone white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, banana and cloves. Light, clean body with wheat and spice flavors and banana along for the ride the whole time. The finish is wheaty with a lingering malt and spice aftertaste. Tastes better than it looks, but that is not saying a whole lot.

Draught at brewpub. Hazy yellow colour with a thin white head. Big banana in the aroma (I’m not a banana fan so I’ll try to remain objective) and maybe a little yeast. More banana in the flavour but really lacking the spice to make it a great hefe.

Sample at brew pub. Good banana and clove aroma. Hazy yellow body with white head. Good banana flavor and also had a sourness on the plate on finish.

Tap @ brewpub. Hazy golden pour. Aroma is quite yeasty with a bit of bubblegum. Somewhat sweet as well. Pretty good hefe.
