Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Apr 17, 2009 Pours copper with a thin off white head. Smells of earth, tea, resiny, spicy, peppery. Tastes of mild hops, resiny, caramelly, a touch of peppery spiciness on the finish. bearlybrewed (33), Colorado, USA Mar 25, 2009 Inviting amber beer with a nice head. Hoppiness was evident and upfront. This is an excellent pale ale ... definitely one of their best.
WickerBrew (312), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 12, 2009 I thought this was pretty good. Decent ABV made losing all my money in the casino seem not so bad. At 2 bucks a cup I cant really complain about money though. Might have a touch of sweetness, but I got that from thier other beers as well so it may just be the brewery’s thing. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Mar 10, 2009 Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Grapefruit, floral, sweet malt on the nose. A bit of floral on the taste along with sweet malt and a medium bitter that grows. Soft carbonation on a medium bodied beer. Best beer here so far. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA Jan 21, 2009 5oz draft sample at the brewpub. dark golden ale with nic ehoppy aroma. Flavor had a nice balence of maltiness with the right amount of pine and citrus hops. Best described as a SNPA clone with and extra dash of hops. I’f i find myself back at the casino, this is what i will drink. torourke (7), West Melbourne, Florida, USA does not count Jul 14, 2008 My favorite beer at the Triple 7 brewpub. This Pale Ale is a little more hoppy and potent than most Pale Ales and is bordering on IPA territory. It reminds me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but is a tad more hoppy and floral and therefore better. I drank this a the main bar while playing video poker and the beer was free. Even if one doesn’t play the machines the beer is still cheap at the main bar at $1.75 per pint. A very good Pale Ale and well worth the coin. BeerBelcher (930), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jun 20, 2008 A really not bad, but unremarkable IPA/APA. When I received it, I thought it was the Raspberry Cream Ale I’d just had, as it had the exact same dark amber color and just barely there head. Aroma was decidedly hoppy and a bit fruity; pretty nice. Flavor was also not bad, but not really above average given the number of great IPAs/APAs on the American market. Mouthfeel was OK and I found this beer to be pretty drinkable.
I would recommend this beer, which I had on-tap at the brewpub. egajdzis (3602), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA May 25, 2008 [Draft @ brewpub] Poured an amber color with a small off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, pine, and light caramel. Taste of citrus fruits, caramel malts, pine, and light toast. A very nice pale here, by far the best beer I had from this brewer.
