Sampler. Soft white head. Gold beer. Light soft hop nose increases in strength as you breathe it in. Nice balanced APA. Assertive yet restrained hops. Delicate and enjoyable.

Sample @brew pub. Decent citrus aroma. Gold body sample had no head. Good citrus flavor but an overaboundant amount of bitterness I could of done without. Dryness of chewing on a vine frome an orange tree on the palate.

By comparison to some of the gigantic beers coming out these days, this is/was a very drinkable beer in the context of a brewpub/oyster bar in downtown Vegas, circa 1997. A little thin by today’s standards but moderately rich, average bouquet, not-too-hoppy. This beer has been lapped since it’s debut but it’s a pioneer--Think Anchor Steam

Definitely the hoppiest of the 5 in the sampler, it’s almost like an IPA. Unfortunately, it starts to get a weird citrusy flavor in the aftertaste.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color. Let’s say that there is a light hoppy fruitness in the aroma; and yes, they used some aroma hops. But the body is thin, no malt, and the hop is metallic, the infusion too long. Odd.

Tons of different versions of this brew due to fact that there have been many different brewers since this debut. I’ll rate the latest. Very piney hop nose light orange color with a slight malt flavor with nice bitter finish. Finishes dry and Crisp

golden amber color, tastes like jucy grapefruit. just enough bitterness to keep it interesting. still it is pretty average
