a blast of citrusy hops greeted my nose as i sniffed this clear gold colored brew, capped with a foamy white head. the flavor was very nicely balanced, starting off with a large hop profile with a sweet malt backbone which tamed the bitterness very well. a clean crisp mouthfeel and a lingering sweetness continued my enjoyment of this brew. the hops never became overpowering, which allowed me to enjoy this one quite a bit.

Clear copper color with great head and lacing. Grassy nose with notes of citrus. Balanced hop flavor with good malt profile and a nice lingering bitterness. Clean finish. Good pale.

Pours a golden color with a hint of red. Lightly sweet aroma. A little hoppy and piney. Fairly hoppy and bitter taste. Some grapefruit peel as well.

Light amber in color with a white head. Pretty hoppy, piney and grapefruity, nicer malt backbone throughout. Medium bodied, bitter finish. Pretty tasty.

Orangey gold, with a white head. Peppery, spicy aroma. Nice taste of smoky malt before a pleasent resiny hop flavor kicks in. Crisp, assertive finish with a longish aftertaste.

Good hoppy aroma. Light to medium amber in color, not much head. A nice hoppy flavor that somewhat overshadows the malt, but doesn’t overpower it. A good American Pale Ale overall.

Aroma is the most dominate part of this pale ale. Clear amber body, fair lacing, hop flavor is heavy and harsh at the initial sip but mellows half way through the sample. Moderate bitterness gives this beer a West Coast feel but really needs to be refined.

Clear straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, pine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel -- decent bitterness that is not overpowering. Light-medium body. Nice balance.
