| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2007 The biggest sampler tray I have ever seen-- all half pints! This beer is more orange than amber, not that it matters much. Not a lot of aroma here, faintly fruity caramel. Palate is definitely on the lighter side, with the same vague caramel sweetness coming through along with a fruity hop finish. I don’t think I would have pegged this as a Vienna, but it wasn’t a bad beer. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

clear amber, scant head, sweet malt aroma, sweet carmel and toasted malt flavor, clean finish, maybe a bit too sweet?

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2007 Sample at brew pub. Sweet malt aroma. Red body with white head. Flavor had a mild fruit to it. Malty sweet and mild bitterness. Sweet malt took away the bitterness which was good for me. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 20, 2006 Little aroma. Has a fair amount of hops, which kind of hide that it’s a lager. Seems at first a little like Sam Adams, but in the end is too malty and lagerish. fiulijn (7500), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Mine was red recently. the color varies but fine and doesn’t bother me like it does richlikebeer. minimum hops nice clean dry finish
