Malty aroma and bright red color. Smooth, robust malt with nice bite at the end. Very good.

Pours a dark golden color. Not alot of red to the color. Fairly hoppy aroma. Piney and hoppy tasting a little bit of maltiness.

Amber. White foam. Light hop nose. Light toasty malt and caramel with a gentle hop finish.

Royal Red vienna what does vienna mean...vienna malt if so yes because there is some sweet malt associated with this brew due to vienna malt. Mine was red recently. the color varies but fine and doesn’t bother me like it does richlikebeer. minimum hops nice clean dry finish

on tap-pours a retaining off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is medium malt-peat, medium hops. Taste is medium malt-peat/faint chocolate, medium hops-slight earthy bitter, some yeast. Mild carbonation. [this batch, yes, same yeast as high roller gold]

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and mild hops aroma. Medium, smooth body with sweet toasted malt, caramel and hops flavors. The finish is sweet malt with a lingering caramel aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Y’know, frankly, I’m running out of ways to describe these run of the mill "reds". My notes are all "slightly" this and "mildly" that. Yes, it is well made and is free of any obvious defects, but nothing really stands out.
