cloudy dark yellow, thin whispy white head, sweet bqnana aroma with a touch of spices, light lemony flavor with a hint of clove in the finish, maybe just a touch of Belgian esters, a Belgian hefeweiss? misnamed?

another of the brewers specials that was available the last week of june, a completely different brew than the regular dubbel. this was extremely reminiscent of Duvel, as it poured a cloudy golden color with a giant white foamy head, aroma was strong with cinnamon and corriander, as well as some sour apple and orange. flavor was blended well and contained all the elements of the aroma leading up to a crisp finish and a spicy aftertaste on the palate. Honestly could be put side by side with Duvel if it had a little more body and the flavors were a little stronger.
