opaque amber, fine tan head, great lace, spicy ripe fruit aroma, sweet fruity flavor, peaches and apracots, nice sweetness, light spices, small under current of bitterness to keep it balanced, the apricots and bitterness grow in tandom as it warms to become a nicely bittered and fruity barleywine, gets a bit thin and alcoholic at the bottom of the snifter but it works well for this wonderful winter warmer
