Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
A complex combination of pale and dark malts provide this rich, dark beer with it’s subtle chocolaty aftertaste.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Quite dark ruby colour. Chewy, fruity malt in the aroma. Treacle and toffee on the palate with enough robust bitter hops to provide excellent balance. Firm mouthfeel and full body. A nicely brewed ale.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A dark brown coloured beer with a ruby hue. The aroma is malty and bready. The taste is fruity, malty and bready. Quite Autumnal and tasty.

Cask Conditioned at Reading BF 2006. Ruby. Sweet malt and fruit. Not a lot of complexity in the flavour but nice all the same.

Cask @ Reading 06: Amber with some nice caramel in the nose. Toffee, gentle fruits and earthy hops. Not bad.
