[Handpump at Horse & Jockey, Reading] Deep amber with a small lasting white head. Fresh citrus aroma. Tasted initially malty with such an intense earthy bitterness that I feared I may struggle to drink it. Fortunately the bitterness was followed by a big citrus kick that made everything OK. Much more flavoursome and interesting than your average bitter, this is not bad at all.

Nice creamy one. Nice head and sweet aftertaste. Got it at GBBF 2008. Also good floral aroma.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is hoppy. Pretty bitter in the mouth with some late citrus. Fairly decent. Unfortunately a little warm.

Cask. Nice, flowery aroma, elderflower. Hazy dark copper colour. Very small head. Also some elderflower in the flavour, and a little sweet.
