Soapy flavor with decent balance. Alright. A better than average Amber, at least. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Tap at Princeton location. Deep amber beer. Sweet malty aroma with lots of caramel and crystal malt sweetness. A bit of lightly fruity hops, but fairly low bitterness. Like most ambers, it just comes across sort of boring and uninspired. abcfan (247), New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2008 On tap at princeton location. Decent brew overall. Pours a nice amber color with a white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Not much aroma, decent flavor of malt with a bit of spice. Nothing extraordinary going on here. dmac (1487), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Growler from Princeton brewpub. Pours a thin amber with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grainy malts, caramel and light grassy hops. Flavor is similiar with light hints of amber malts and a slight touch of citrus hops. Thin bodied with light carbonation but hey it is a growler after all. Nice and highly quaffable and still decent 24 hours after opening. Why the hell does Triumph use clear growlers though?? What are they thinking?? lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Updated: Apr 14, 2008The color of dark tea, very amber. Faint head, with a light body. A bit spicy with little aroma, and lightly hopped. Enjoyable. sweet, grainy, and malt driven flavor. moderately hoppy with grapefruit. Light cheesy yeast flavor. Raisin, syrup, cloves and dust. small off white head without longevity. clear, flat body. medium amber hue. moderate acidity and bitterness in flavor and finish. dry, crisp. This may have been switched with the IPA in my second tasting, but it could just be a very nice beer. chimplechamp (465), Oslo, Norway

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Draft->juice glass (tasting@brewery): Pours a small, diminishing white head atop a clear ruby body. Aroma notes of caramel and light alcoholic. The flavor’s duration is short with light acidity and bitterness. The body is medium, the texture is sticky, soft carbo, and bitter finish.
A middle-of-the-road beer for me; nothing spectacularly good or bad. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Pours a dark reddish amber. Nose is nice. The flavor profile deliver a woody and earthy ride. Feel is smooth on both sides of the spectrum. Very drinkable, though it seems to carry a bit of an edge. But hey, go for it if you see it. It’s still worthy.
