one of the better ambers i’ve every had because it wasn’t weighed down by caramel sweetness. nice citrus hops in the nose and flavor. also not amber in color, more copper. excellent.

Tap at the brewpub. Thin wispy head of dense bubbles. Good carbonation. Bright reddish orange in color. Light bready malt aroma. Some zippy floral hops in there also. Light crisp flavor with a good helping of hops which are balanced nicely with the malts. Dry and a little bitter. Dry but clean finish with a bit of lingering fruit. A very good amber ale.

Had this one on draft in Princeton. Pours a crisp light amber color with some notes of hops, carmel and straw. The taste wasn’t very complex, and the balance was a little off on this one. Not a bad amber ale, but nothing to get excited about.

Draft at Newhope. Pours a light amber with a large white head. A citrus scent is coupled with a refreshing piney taste at the beginning. Notes of butterscotch in the middle and end. Well rounded and solid.

Draft at New Hope. Dark amber body with big white head on it. Aroma was malty but with a pretty big hop presence to it. Flavor is sweet and smooth with a nice malt and hop balance to it. This one really surprised me and I thank Paul (dickinsonbeer) for suggesting this one. May be the best amber I’ve ever had.

Princeton brewpub. Amber head, with a moderately sweet body and some lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Fairly standard.

My sigoth and I frequent the Triumph brewery in Princeton quite often and we always get the sampler. The Amber is a welcomed staple of said sampler.
