Commercial Description:
This special India Pale Ale was first brewed in honor of Princeton University's 250th anniversary and Triumph Brewing Company's first. It's a crisp, hoppy, high gravity ale. The high hopping rate and hefty alcohol content, once used to preserve this ale on the long ocean voyage to India, now provide it with a distinct aroma and robust flavor.

On tap at the brewpub in Princeton. One word to describe this IPA would be WEAK! There’s no hop here until the finish - the body is just bland. Where’s the beef???

On tap. Poured a medium amber with a smaller head. Hoppy, citris and floral aroma and tastes. Bitter finish. OK IPA.

On draft at the brewery in New Hope. A gorgeous pint: cloudy amber brew with nice head and some lacing. Faint pine needle scent that quickly fades. Flavor is dry, mild and subtle for an IPA.

Weak hop aroma, watery with little malt. Hazy orange-amber with off-white lacing head. Medium body carbonation. Ok hops, fruity, ozone. Decent malts. Light acidic finish and bitter after, but not overbearing. Average IPA.

An alright IPA, doesn’t try too hard, which is a good thing, but doesn’t have the same after-bite left from say, Harpoon. Good color, a medium amount of hops, a good IPA, and let’s just call it a day.

Decent but nothing amazing. Nice example of an IPA. I’ll recommend it

Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Deep amber body is topped with a solid mid-sized head. Good lacing. A hint of strawberry carries throughout and ends in a sharp bitterness which settles into a long moderately bitter finish. Sweetness and bitterness are not mixed at all. There is a big diffferential with the strawberry sweetness and hoppy bitterness playing separate sides of the spectrum without ever seeming to touch.
