I had this on tap and it was smooth but up there in the hops without crossing over into imperial land. Glouglouburp (2877), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

How: Tap at brewpub, Princeton location (6.3%)
The look: Clear golden copper body topped by a small
In long: Good maltiness here, this is not a hop juice IPA. Crisp caramel, bread crust with a hopping that was citrusy, pine tree needles and dry wood. Some dry grass. Medium bitterness. This is a very good IPA that doesn’t try to do anything fancy. As simple as a “You come here often?” pick-up line yet as effective as a “get lost” answer. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Growler from Princeton brewpub. Pours a golden orange with a small to average white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma with some floral notes as well. Crisp medium bodied with light carbonation, it’s a grolwer so that’s probably why, and lots of bitterness on the finish. Flavor of citrus rind, grains and slight tangerine. Flavor is balanced but could use a little more aroma. blipp (1723), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Draft. Pours unclear gold with a sticky white head. Sweet and hoppy aroma with orange and floral notes. Medium body. Orange, caramel, and floral notes in the flavor. Very well balanced, the nops don’t really kick you in the face. Very nice, very drinkable. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2008 On tap in old city: Dark copper color, full head. Nice smell of piney hops. However the strong hop aroma did not match the taste. I thought there would be an over the top hop taste and there wasn’t and the hops didn’t linger as much as I like. I like to be able to almost chew the hop taste after I put the beer down. Ends with an soapy, earthy taste. tjthresh (1779), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2008 On tap at the brewpub for my 100th IPA rating. The pour was orange with a white head. Citrus (tangerine?) flavors and aromas. Light on body and high on carbonation. Dry finish. Back to basics. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Pours a hazy orange with a frothy white head. Smells and tastes like hops. I noticed a dry finish. There wasn’t much to this but it was a good standard issue IPA. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
