Mar 30, 2008 Updated: Apr 14, 2008Sampler. A beautiful deep red color, with an unimpressive head. It’s a bit flat on the tongue, and slightly off or sour to the nose, but the taste is a knockout with a hoppy depth that you’ll come back for. Dark nutty, grainy flavors. Mild coffee undertone. Heavy, herby pine and resin hops flavors. Red Wine and oak overtones. Medium amber and red hues. moderately sweet and bitter, while lightly acidic. Average duration of aftertaste. dry, lively, and astringent. Easily my favorite at Triumph.

Mar 26, 2008 Draft->juice glass (tasting@brewery): Pours a spare, white, diminshing head that exhibits good lacing atop a clear amber body. Aroma of molasses and perfume/citrus hops. Flavor’s duration is average, moderately acidic and bitter and mineral-y. The body is medium, texture is sticky, flat carbo, and ends astringently.
Chalky and astringent, but good bitterness--not a horrible IPA.

Jan 4, 2008 Orange with thin white head. Aroma is hoppy citrus and papaya. Taste is a stewed hop tea with strange flavors and tannins. Not bad, especially for Triumph.

Nov 10, 2007 Very nice IPA that gets better the longer you drank it (Like that blonde next to you.) Citrus and pine throughout. Ends dry. The flavor lingers.

Oct 30, 2007 On draft at the Newtown brewfest with the Mad_Indian. Pours copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and piney hops. The flavor is slightly sweet caramel, citrus, pine, and finishes dry. Boring brew.
